Our extensive range of drama games and exercises are used to enhance self confidence, communication and coordination.

During our drama sessions the children will partake in team building exercises, improvisation and story telling games and may also learn some fun tongue twisters! The children learn to work with their peers and create drama through various mediums including mime and mask.

As the children grow in confidence they can engage in script work, creating and reading lines for various characters for the end of term/end of course performance. The performances aim to be a combination of improvised (driven by the children) and scripted scenes.

Backing music is provided to help the action move along and provide ambience to the performances. Occasionally the children are taught songs that are relevant to the show. Any movement required is usually very basic. However children are encouraged to use their physicality to create characters and tell a story on stage.

Ultimately STAMP aims to 'build confidence as we build to performance' whilst having a tremendous amount of fun!
